The Greenshell mussel is the traditional food of the Maori tribe of New Zealand. The daily dose of Vitaking Greenshell mussel (2 capsules) contains 800mg of powdered Greenshell mussel, of which the GAG (glucosaminoglycanic content) is 16 mg. The Maoris believe that their ancestors were due to the fruits of the sea and the greenshell mussels that they were in excellent shape even in their old age.
